Left-wing election fraud narratives linking Elon Musk’s Starlink to Kamala Harris’s defeat

Election fraud conspiracy theories have resurfaced after the US elections, with the so-called BlueAnon movement linking Elon Musk’s Starlink to Kamala Harris’s defeat. ISD OSINT Senior Analyst Elise Thomas discussed with WIRED about how these left-wing election fraud narratives are spreading online, fueled by influencers looking to gain clout.

“There are incentives for people to do this,” she said, highlighting how users garner thousands of likes, further incentivizing this content. While smaller in scale than 2020’s “Stop the Steal,” Elise warned about the rapid spread of such narratives, noting the “collective storytelling” within these communities.
