Coordinated inauthentic behaviour is when a set of online entities—individual accounts, groups or pages—operate together towards a shared goal or purpose, which can, but do not have to be, managed by the same actors. ISD’s past work has identified how this behaviour can influence public perception as well as platform algorithms.
