Islamophobic and antisemitic discourse on social media after the October 7th attacks

ISD’s Zahed Amanullah will be speaking on Islamophobic and Antisemitic discourse on social media after the October 7th attacks on Israel by Hamas for the Bard Center for the Study of Hate (BCSH) in a webinar on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm EST.

In the past there have been spikes in antisemitic discourse and Islamophobia but what’s new at this moment is their measurable rise in tandem. Zahed will be discussing the findings of two recent ISD reports – one on antisemitism and one on anti-Muslim hatred, along with a discussion of some civil society responses from Muslim and Jewish communities impacted by the conflict.
