ISD’s Cody Zoschak speaks with The Guardian about online terrorism resources

Cody Zoschak, a senior analyst at ISD-US, spoke to the Guardian about how easily radicalized individuals can access terrorist content online. Speaking with the outlet, Cody discussed the accessibility of instruction manuals created by terrorist organizations explaining that, “manuals related to firearms, espionage, explosives, hacking or other illegal activities are widely circulated in poorly moderated online spaces such as Telegram.”

“In these instances, the instruction manuals, which are tailored to match the strategy and tactics of the groups producing them, not only provide guidance to would-be-attackers but may also help mobilize an already radicalized individual to violence.”
