Digital Policy and Research Analyst

Leonie Oehmig is a Digital Policy and Research Analyst at ISD Germany. Leonie focuses on researching online gender-based violence, information operations and artificial intelligence. She also contributes to projects related to the EU’s Digital Services Act (DSA) and the compliance of Very Large Online Platforms (VLOPs). Her role combines in-depth research with policy analysis, supporting efforts to translate empirical findings into actionable policy recommendations.

Prior to joining ISD, Leonie completed a Master’s degree in Sociology at the University of Potsdam. She also worked at the Social Science Center Berlin (WZB), where she contributed to social science research projects.
