ISD CEO Sasha Havlicek to speak on the growing threat of polarisation at event hosted at UN Plaza

ISD’s CEO and co-founder, Sasha Havlicek, will be joining fellow experts on Wednesday, 17 July, for the high-level, hybrid event Tackling Polarization and Disinformation in Pursuit of SDG16+. This will be a hybrid event taking place at 777 United Nations Plaza with a livestream available via Zoom.

The event is hosted by Pathfinders for Peaceful, Just and Inclusive Societies with the support of the governments of Bangladesh, Canada, Czechia and Guatemala.

The high-level discussion will gather stakeholders across different fields to discuss the growing threat of societal fragmentation. Experts will examine the vulnerabilities that make societies, communities and individuals susceptible to polarizing narratives, and will promote solutions to foster resilient communities and encourage collaboration across contexts and disciplines.
