Krystalle Pinilla is a Communications Manager at ISD-US, overseeing external written content including publications, Dispatch blog posts, newsletters and other outputs relating to ISD research. Before joining ISD, Krystalle was a Research Intern and Coordinator at the US Department of State, where she supported projects on countering violent extremism. Krystalle also spent several years as a National Reporter and Editor for NBCUniversal’s Telemundo, a Spanish-language media company in the US. She holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Florida and a Master’s in Geopolitics and Strategic Studies from the University Carlos III of Madrid.
