How white nationalist youth groups are widening their net
United Youth, an umbrella organization under which white nationalist Youth Clubs for young men aged 15 to 18 operate, is expanding its recruitment efforts to include young girls. This shift is reflected in the creation of an all-female branch, Young Columbia.
ISD Analyst Jacob Wagner discusses youth involvement in extremist groups, highlighting the suspected ties between Youth Clubs and the broader Active Club Network in a recent CBS News article.
“Gen Z teenagers are increasingly engaging with extremist content online, something that groups like United Youth seek to capitalize on,” Jacob said. “These views of white nationalism and white supremacism have become more mainstream over the past couple of years.”
