Click reveals ISD discovery of huge pro-ISIS online cache

ISD Deputy Director Moustafa Ayad discovered one of the largest collections of material belonging to the so-called Islamic State group ever found on the internet.

BBC Click aired an investigation following ISD researchers who have spent months tracking a huge pro-ISIS cache of over 90,000 documents. It receives (researchers judge) c. 10,000 visits a month, 60% direct clicks, 40% social media (almost all YouTube).

Mixed in amongst training manuals and how-to guides was propaganda around lifestyle, food, even healthcare.
