Siddharth Venkataramakrishnan is an Editorial Manager and Analyst at ISD. In this dual role, Sid works as a front-line editor on ISD’s outputs and provides training to other staff on writing technique. He also carries out analysis on topics including Hindu nationalism, the intersection of finance and misinformation, and the far-right online. Prior to joining ISD, Sid was a journalist at the Financial Times, covering topics ranging from Big Tech to fintech. He holds an MSc in the Social Science of the Internet from Oxford and an MS in Journalism from Columbia University.
