Events, Operations and Communications Coordinator (ISD Germany)

The Events, Operations & Communications Coordinator is responsible for ensuring smooth delivery of day-to-day operations at ISD Germany. Supporting the Executive Director and project teams across a broad spectrum of responsibilities, the post holder will provide support with general administration, office management, communications coordination and event logistics.

Strong Cities Network Director

Joining ISD’s senior team, the Strong Cities network Director will be visionary, provide leadership and represent ISD’s flagship cities programme. Working with the SCN’s international team, the post holder will drive forward a dynamic global engagement strategy, with the ambition of building the SCN into the preeminent international support infrastructure for cities looking to counter polarisation and extremism by 2025.

Research and Policy Associate (ISD Germany)

Join the ISD Germany team in Berlin during an exciting growth phase as a Research and Policy Associate to support pioneering work on monitoring and combatting disinformation, extremism and malign influence campaigns. The ideal candidate must have excellent bilingual German and English language skills, with demonstrable experience with quantitative or qualitative research, and good knowledge of issues of disinformation, extremism or terrorism.

Internship Programme – Intern, Senior Team

As part of its ongoing Internship programme, ISD is seeking an Intern to join the Senior Team and support its pioneering work. The Intern will support the CEO and senior team in supporting research, policy advisory, and action projects in Europe and the US. Experience of working with a research, project management, or civic action organisation is desirable. Preference will be given to candidates with professional-level language skills, in particular German, French, or Arabic.

Internship Programme – Trainee (ISD Germany)

As part of the ongoing Internship programme at ISD, our office in Germany is seeking a Trainee to support the team with delivery of research, policy advisory and action projects. Supporting the team in conducting background research, drafting reports, providing logistical support to the delivery of programmes and events, the trainee will also engage with internal and external stakeholders on ISD’s work in Germany. Exceptional written and spoken English and German – professional standard bilingual abilities are essential.

Analysts – France, Germany, UK and US

ISD are in search of experienced digital research Analysts for UK, US, France and Germany to join their Digital Research Unit in conducting quantitative and qualitative digital research, including data analysis and open source intelligence on issues of disinformation, extremism or political communications online. Focussing on extremism and disinformation across France, Germany, UK or US, the postholder will also work with teams studying similar issues across Europe, the UK and the US. Candidates applying for France or German Analyst roles must have exceptional written and spoken English and French/German – professional standard bilingual abilities are essential.

Internship Programme – Intern Communications Team

Further to its ongoing internship programme, ISD is recruiting for a Communications Intern to work with the Comms team who coordinate external written content for ISD including publications, external media, digital and broadcasting media. Working with multiple colleagues on a range of projects, the Intern will contribute to, and learn from a range of ISD projects and also monitor media appearances, organise media content, update the ISD Website aswell as providing the team with Comms support.
