This report provides a snapshot of the different online communities involved in the promotion of hate and disinformation targeting refugees and the migration sector in 2020. It looks at networks of accounts in Greek, German and English language, and provides an overview of the narratives employed in anti-refugee disinformation and the dynamics which drive this activity online.

The Rise of Antisemitism Online During the Pandemic: A Study of French and German Content

This study, conducted by ISD and commissioned by the European Commission, provides a data-driven snapshot of the proliferation of Covid-19 related online antisemitic content in French and German on Twitter, Facebook and Telegram, analysing the scale of the challenge across platforms, as well as the most prominent antisemitic narratives relating to the pandemic.

A Snapshot of Far-Right Activity on Gab in Australia

This report provides an analysis of far-right mobilisation on Gab in Australia, based on the analysis of over 45,000 posts produced between 1 January and 30 September 2020. Through this analysis, the study helps evidence the role Gab plays as a hub for explicitly antisemitic far-right extremism and radicalism in the Australian context.

Developing and Implementing Local Action Plans for P/CVE in East Africa: SCN Toolkit with lessons from Kenya.

Toolkit designed by The Strong Cities Network (SCN), based on Kenya’s experience in developing County Action Plans (CAPs) as a resource for governments and civil society organisations in East Africa who are interested in developing a Local Action Plan (LAP). LAPs seek to build a multisectoral approach to strengthening community resilience and addressing the root causes of violent extremism, polarisation and hate.

La pandémie de COVID-19: terreau fertile de la haine en ligne

Ce rapport s’intéresse à la corrélation entre la pandémie et propagation du discours haineux en ligne. En s’appuyant sur la méthodologie de la Cartographie de la Haine en ligne, l’ISD a opéré une analyse en détail du discours anti-arabe/magrébin, anti-musulman, anti-asiatique et anti-refugié/migrant. Cette étude fait le constat que la pandémie a alimenté des discours visant à stigmatiser certaines communautés minoritaires en France.
