Consultant, MENA Campaign

This Consultant position will support the ISD team on the launch a multi-platform engagement campaign, as part of an outreach communications program in the Middle East.

The focus of this will be on engaging audiences online in Jordan, Lebanon and Morocco. The role will also include helping to develop the strategic planning of the engagement phase of the campaign, as well as assistance in the evaluation of the program.  The role requires a Native Arabic (Moroccan ‘darijah’ would be an asset), and a strong understanding of social media issues and Middle Eastern culture and politics.

The Consultant will report to the Programme Manager but work closely with the Program Associate to deliver the campaign launch and follow up analytics. The majority of the role will involve work online.

  • Start Date: Monday 26th February
  • Salary Bracket: £120-£200 a day, dependant on experience

Request for Proposals: Project – Specific Audit

ISD currently holds a Grant Agreement with the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

MEU-16/0003, YouthCAN MENA & Strong Cities Norway-MENA City Exchange

ISD seeks to appoint an appropriately qualified Auditor (“the Auditor”) to conduct a project-specific audit on this grant by 30th March2017. This project-specific audit is being undertaken as a requirement stipulated by the grant agreement. The terms of reference are available upon request.

Proposals will only be considered from organizations that can positively confirm and evidence that they meet the following criteria:

  1. The Auditor is properly licensed for public practice as a certified public accountant;
  2. The Auditor is independent of ISD and has no connection to the organization;
  3. The Auditor does not have a record of substandard audit work; and
  4. The Auditor meets any other specific qualification requirements imposed by European Regulations and UK law.

ISD welcomes proposals from Auditors who are familiar with charity accounting practices and the standards for the management of EC grants. We welcome proposals from small, minority-owned and women-owned firms.
