Digital Communications & Press Coordinator

ISD is looking for a Digital Communications and Press Officer who will develop ISD’s profile online and with the media as the organisation grows. Working closely with Senior Communications Manager, the successful candidate will shape the organisation’s communications strategy and deliver engaging digital content to a range of stakeholders.

Project Coordinator

This Project Coordinator position, working exclusively on ISD’s Strong Cities Network (SCN) programme, will support the SCN’s Senior Programme Manager on project activities and expansion with a focus on the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). This will include supporting the SCN’s team in Lebanon and Jordan on a municipal capacity building programme supported by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Project Coordinator will closely with Senior Regional Project Manager based in Beirut. The successful candidate may need to travel to the region several times a year and native Arabic spoken and written language skills are essential.

  • Type of Contract: One year fixed term
  • Salary: £28,000-£32,000

Paid Internship Opportunity

We are looking for a graduate intern to join our busy team for a placement of 6 months. Candidates will work exclusively on ISD’s Strong Cities Network (SCN) programme, the first global network of local municipal leaders and practitioners working together to build resilience against violent extremism in all its forms. The aim of the network is to provide a global platform to support cities in developing effective counter extremism frameworks and practices, and facilitate mutual learning and exchange of best practice and lessons learned.
