Krystalle Pinilla is a Communications Coordinator at ISD. She assists our communications department in coordinating external written content including publications, blog posts, newsletters and other outputs relating to our research, and all digital and broadcast media appearances. Before joining ISD, Krystalle was a Research Intern and Coordinator at the U.S. Department of State, where she focused on CVE programmes, and disinformation in relation to terrorist and violent extremist groups. She has also worked for multiple years as a National Reporter and Editor for NBCUniversal’s Telemundo, a Spanish-language media company in the U.S. She holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Florida and a Master’s in Geopolitics and Strategic Studies from the University Carlos III of Madrid.
