Krystalle Pinilla is a Communications Manager at ISD. She oversees the external written content processes including publications, Dispatch-blog posts, newsletters and other outputs relating to our research, and assists in coordinating digital and broadcast media appearances. Before joining ISD, Krystalle was a Research Intern and Coordinator at the US Department of State, where she focused on CVE programmes, and disinformation in relation to terrorist and violent extremist groups. She has also worked for multiple years as a National Reporter and Editor for NBCUniversal’s Telemundo, a Spanish-language media company in the US. She holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Florida and a Master’s in Geopolitics and Strategic Studies from the University Carlos III of Madrid.
