Terror-related online activity isn’t the only type of extremist content that’s grown since the pandemic

In the wake of the killing of British MP David Amess, ISD’s Jacob Davey speaks to The Guardian about the increase in “harmful” activity relating to extremist issues since the beginning of the pandemic– and it’s more than just terror-related. ISD research lays out serious and significant evidence reflecting a rise in rightwing content, consistent with global trends, amongst other activity that’s been on the rise.
