ISD’s Jacob Davey speaks with The New Statesman about youth radicalisation of children online

Jacob Davey, ISD’s Director of Policy & Research for Counter-Hate, joined The New Statesman’s podcast to talk about the recent guilty plea of Axel Rudakubana for the Southport stabbings. During the discussion, Jacob highlighted the dynamic nature of security threats, stating, “the threat of violence to public security is something which is constantly changing, constantly evolving with the way we communicate.”

When considering how the government can combat this threat, Jacob suggested, “what we would like to see is much more effective integration of safeguarding boards at a local level both within the PREVENT architecture.”
