Forbes features ISD research on false election interference claims in Ireland’s general election

ISD’s recent report on unsubstantiated election interference claims in Ireland was featured in an article by Forbes. In the report, ISD found that widespread claims on social media suggested that instances of voter harvesting, foreign interference and polling station irregularities were occurring during Ireland’s local elections. These claims echoed language found in the US “Stop the Steal” movement and reappeared during and after the Irish general elections.
