Youth Innovation Lab: Hyderabad | A Workshop to Wipe Out Fake News

ISD’s Youth Civil Activism Network (YouthCAN) hosted a three-day fully-funded workshop dedicated to crafting new solutions to countering fake news and disinformation in India.

During an engaging three days, 35 young activists from Hyderabad came together to work with industry experts to flex their creativity and craft an innovative new campaign to counter fake news and misinformation online and address the consequences that spurious content has in undermining democracy and fuelling polarisation and violence in India.
