ISD’s Zahed Amanullah spoke at “How well does the UN protect freedom of religion and belief?,” a webinar sponsored by the Westminster United Nations Association. Other panelists include Dr Ahmed Shaheed, UN Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Religion or Belief, Dr Kishan Manocha, Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, Organisation for Security & Cooperation in Europe, and Mustafa Field OBE, Director, Faith Forum for London. Zahed looked at the impact of COVID19 on religious minorities around the world, particularly when used in attacks against them online.
