The Grand Challenge 2022: Blending AI and data science for environmental solutions

Environmental Intelligence Grand Challenge 2022

The Environmental Intelligence Grand Challenge 2022, organised by the University of Exeter, will be held on 11 to 15 July 2022. The event brings together researchers and experts to create novel solutions, blending data science and AI to address environmental problems.

Over the five days of the Grand Challenge, partner organisations will present environmental problems for interdisciplinary teams to solve. ISD’s Łukasz Janulewicz will lend his expertise throughout the event.

ISD is an official partner of the EIGC 2022, alongside other organisations, including Friends of the Earth, World Wildlife Fund and the Global Carbon Project.

The hackathon is open to a wide range of participants, including postgraduates, early career researches, academics and practitioners from industry, NGOs and the public sector. Expressions of interest are open to participate in the event.
