Salafism, Gen-Z and the convergence of online subcultures

ISD’s Milo Comerford and Moustafa Ayad discussed emerging online Salafist communities and their link to wider online extremist trends. This virtual discussion formed part of the George Washington University’s Program on Extremism in partnership with the National Counterterrorism Innovation, Technology and Education Center (NCITE) and ISD. Findings and recommendations from ISD’s recent research on Gen-Z & The Digital Salafi Ecosystem were presented during the event.
