ISD’s Jiore Craig gives keynote address at the British Council’s Media for All

Head of Elections and Digital Integrity, Jiore Craig, delivered the keynote address at the British Council’s #MediaForAll conference in Tirana, Albania, earlier this month. She spoke about the dynamics of online disinformation and how the media and young people have a critical role to play in mitigating disinformation’s harm on the democratic process. Jiore emphasised “the importance of free and independent media that actually reaches its intended audience where they are online and not only wins the approval of its professional peer group,” while focussing on the importance of bringing young people into the conversation as they are “best positioned to catch new online media adoption patterns.”
