Doctors for America on combatting COVID-19 misinformation

ISD’s Head of Digital Integrity Jiore Craig joined Dr. Alice Chen and Dr. Anne Schuchat at Doctors for America’s Advocacy Grand Rounds event called ‘Strategies for Communicating with Patients to Overcome Vaccine Misinformation.’

The panelists discussed the unique role doctors can play in combatting misinformation, as well as the importance of communicating with empathy. The event also covered the role of social media algorithms in exasperating the problem of COVID-19 misinformation.
